The curriculum included design as well as a strong emphasis on construction, bidding and negotiation, and construction administration. Uniquely for Germany we worked closely together with the department of engineering, sharing various classes. The program underscored the interdisciplinary nature of our profession: understanding & incorporating engineers’ scope early into the design process and learning how to work together efficiently.
